Since October 7th, thousands of Israeli soldiers have returned from battle carrying visible and invisible wounds - physical injury, trauma, PTSD, emotional exhaustion, and lives forever changed.

MAOZ REIM Rehabilitation Village is being established as Israel's first integrated rehabilitation village for wounded IDF soldiers and their families - a healing ecosystem that brings together physical rehabilitation, trauma recovery, family support, community, and return-to-life programs in one continuous journey.

A National Rehabilitation Challenge

The rehabilitation crisis created on October 7th did not end when the war did. Thousands of wounded soldiers still require years of physical, emotional, social, and psychological support. Their families - spouses, parents, and children - are also part of this journey. Today, rehabilitation is often fragmented: physical treatment in one place, trauma care in another, support to family members elsewhere.
משבר השיקום שנוצר בעקבות 7 באוקטובר לא הסתיים עם שוך הקרבות. אלפי חיילים פצועים עדיין זקוקים לשנים של תמיכה פיזית, רגשית, חברתית ופסיכולוגית. גם משפחותיהם - בני ובנות זוג, הורים וילדים - הן חלק בלתי נפרד מהמסע הזה. כיום, תהליך השיקום לעיתים קרובות מפוצל: טיפול פיזי במקום אחד, טיפול בטראומה במקום אחר, ותמיכה בבני המשפחה במקום נוסף.
MAOZ REIM was created to change that.

The village is designed around continuity, dignity, family, purpose, belonging, and hope - because rehabilitation doesn't end with one treatment, it's a process, It is rebuilding an entire life.
